www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/ : National Park Systems Civil War Soldiers and Sailors database. Look up a civil war ancestor and you can also look up information on their regiment.
www.archives.gov : National Archives website with access to military records. Order civil war records online or look at WWII casualty lists.
